WINDER

Rolls & Albums

Winder offers two simple ways to organize photographs.

Rolls are where frames live

A roll matches the physical roll you shot. It holds the film, camera, lens, and scan details shared by its frames. A frame belongs to one roll, or can sit loose until you organize it.

Moving a frame to another roll changes where it lives in your library.

Albums are labels

Albums gather photographs without moving them. One frame can appear in Portraits, Rome 2026, and Favorites to print at the same time.

Use a roll for the film you loaded into the camera. Use an album for any theme, trip, person, or selection that can cross several rolls.

Deleting a roll moves it to Winder's trash. Deleting an album removes only the label; the photographs stay where they are.
