Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Winder application and the winder.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Rivertwilight ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Winder, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Winder is a photo utility that splits, straightens and organizes scanned half-frame film photographs on your device. Winder stores your photos and metadata as files on storage you control. We do not host your photos.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Winder on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you obtained it from.

You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Your content

Your photographs and metadata are yours. Entirely. Winder does not upload, analyze, or claim any rights over your content. Because content lives in files under your control, you are responsible for your own backups — the .trash folder is a courtesy, not a backup strategy.

4. Winder Pro

Winder Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown in the store at the point of purchase and may vary by region.

• Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via your store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by the respective store under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to process content that is unlawful for you to possess, or to interfere with the operation of the Service.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Winder's automated splitting and rotation are assistive; always review results before deleting source scans. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on winder.app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Termination

You may stop using Winder at any time — your files remain yours. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent local mandatory consumer protections apply.
